St John's Lutheran church is home to the 79th Brisbane Company of Girl's Brigade
and the 4th Logan Company of the Boys' Brigade.
The history of Brigade at St John's started in 1985 when the 4th Logan Boys
Brigade company was formed. Shortly after the 79th Brisbane Girls Brigade began.
Over the years there have been many changes in the brigade movements and the
numbers of girls and boys have risen and fallen.
