THE WORLD VS MAN
CHARACTERS: Two clowns
PROPS:
|
Boxing gloves, sign which says, ‘THE WORLD VS MAN’, bell, red heart balloon, black marker
|
Clown 1 enters wearing boxing gloves and dances around like a big-time professional boxer ready to take on anyone.
Clown 2 enters with a big sign that says, ‘THE WORLD VS MAN’.
Clown 2 dings a bell and the fight begins.
Clown 1 mimes a boxing game, at first very confident and seemingly staying on top.
Slowly the tide turns and Clown 1 starts to get clobbered and ends up getting knocked down time and time again, finding it harder each time to get back up.
Meanwhile, Clown 2 starts to get rather distressed and wants to help out, but feels useless.
Eventually Clown 1 gets knocked out and doesn’t get up.
Clown 2 thinks of a solution and produces a balloon. When she/he blows it up you see that it is a red heart-shaped balloon.
Clown 2 then produces a black marker and draws a cross on it, shows it to the audience and then waves it over Clown 1.
Clown 1 is revived and takes the balloon which helps him to float up.
Clown 2 picks up Clown 1’s hand and declares him winner.
