SING THE FEAST
Advent
Blessed are those who have been invited to the wedding feast of the Lamb. Come, for everything is ready.
Christmas
Jesus says: ‘I am the living bread that came down from heaven. The bread that I will give you is my flesh, which I give so that the world may live.’ Come, for everything is ready.
Epiphany
Jesus says: ‘The bread that God gives is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.’ Come, for everything is ready.
Lent
Every time we eat this bread and drink from this cup we proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes. Come, for everything is ready.
Easter
Jesus says: ‘Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood have eternal life, and I will raise them up on the last day.’ Come, for everything is ready.
Ascension
Jesus says: ‘When I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw everyone to me.’ Come, for everything is ready.
Pentecost
Jesus says: ‘Let anyone who is thirsty come to me, and let the one who believes in me drink.’ Come, for everything is ready.
Trinity
Through Christ Jesus we have access to the Father by one Spirit. Come, for everything is ready.
General
1 Jesus says: ‘I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.’ Come, for everything is ready.
2 Jesus says: ‘My flesh is true food and my blood is true drink. Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood remain in me, and I in them.’ Come, for everything is ready.
3 This cup of thanksgiving for which we give thanks is a communion in the blood of Christ. This bread that we break is a communion in the body of Christ. Come, for everything is ready.
